The Best Private Trips to Book With Your Support Group
Whatever the reason for your support group’s existence, travel can often offer a perfect way for groups to getaway, enjoy positive shared experiences and bond further over common ground. Book a Private Trip with one of our immersive, authentic itineraries to take your support group on a culturally enriching, spiritually fulfilling getaway.
There’s plenty of pros for going private. Obviously it means you can keep the guest-list locked down, but it also allows for far greater flexibility on travel dates, group sizes (minimum of 4) and even age requirements. Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands by Train
There’s something so magical about the rugged beauty of Scotland’s Highlands, especially when you’re winding through them on an old steam train. It’s no wonder said steam train was the real life stand-in for the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter movies. Follow in Harry’s footsteps by hopping onboard the Jacobite steam train yourself for a scenic journey from Fort Williams to Mallaig, crossing the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct en route. That’s the headline act of this weeklong Scottish itinerary, but you’ll also experience the thrill of riding the sleeper train from London to Scotland, as well as exploring the Isle of Skye, Cairngorms National Park and artsy Inverness, before reaching our final destination, the gorgeous gothic city of Edinburgh.

Tropical Northern Thailand
If a nature escape is what your group is after, then it doesn’t get much more immersive than this 10-day tour of Thailand. We’ll focus in on the luscious jungles of the north, starting in Chiang Mai with a bit of street art and street food, before embarking on a proper outdoorsy adventure. You’ll splash around in hidden waterfalls, discover stunning sunset viewpoints in Pai and trek through the jungles of Mae Hong Son. Things really get special on our last day, however, when early risers will be treated to a dawn hike up Thailand’s tallest peak, Doi Inthanon. Watch the sun come up in style before heading back down the mountain to an ethical elephant sanctuary. You’ll get to walk with, feed and bathe a selection of gentle giants, all of which are former working elephants rescued by the centre.

Greek Island Odyssey
Living your best life isn’t hard when you’re on holiday in Greece. There’s something inherently indulgent about this country, and yet it retains a sense of calm, most notable in its quaint fishing villages. This eight-day island-hopping itinerary offers the complete Greek experience, starting with a guided exploration of the Acropolis in Athens. Then we set sail for the Cyclades, stopping firstly in Milos, where an island boat cruise and beach visits aplenty await. Next up is Naxos, where you’ll head inland to the charming village of Kaloxylos, popping into a family home to experience an authentic Greek cooking class, using only the freshest ingredients sourced from the island. We end the tour in glamorous style on the sumptuous isle of Santorini. This place is famous for its whitewashed buildings and blue-domed churches, which look best when glowing under the warm hue of a Santorini sunset. Trust us, there is no better setting to round off a trip, reminiscing over a glorious week spent living it up Mediterranean style.

Connect with like-minded people on our premium trips curated by local insiders and with care for the world
Since you are here, we would like to share our vision for the future of travel - and the direction Culture Trip is moving in.
Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.
Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.
Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.
We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
