Where To Eat, Stay, And Play In The Grand Cayman
Often overlooked by visitors in favor of the ever-popular islands of Jamaica and Barbados, the Cayman Islands are truly beautiful, authentically Caribbean and absolutely worth a visit. This British overseas territory is comprised of three islands: Little Cayman, Grand Cayman, and Cayman Brac. The islands are small and easy to explore. Find below Culture Trip’s top must-sees while you’re in Grand Cayman.
Seven Mile Beach
The name speaks for itself: seven miles of white sand, turquoise waters, and pure paradise. The Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach has something for everyone. Some sections of the beach are privately owned by the island’s upmarket hotels, but the majority is open to the public. Grab yourself a sunbed, umbrella and bucket of Caybrew beers on ice and enjoy. The water is refreshing and a great way to cool off from the Caribbean sunshine. If you feel like tearing yourself away from the utter bliss of relaxing and doing nothing, then jet skis and other water sports are available from the local beach boys. Jet skiing is great fun and well worth doing if you feel like adding an hour of adrenaline to your day. Taxis from Georgetown, Grand Cayman’s capital will drop you from the center to the furthest part of the beach for only five to ten US dollars.

We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.
Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.
Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.
