Peruvian couple María Fe Gamarra and Isaías Mendoza del Solar founded Qhispikay Sustainable Glamping with the mission of social impact: to make the world a better place by supporting the local Andean community through responsible tourism. Qhispikay employs Andean families in the Sacred Valleys to host and run their three glamping campsites outside of Cusco in the towns of Huilloc, Misminay and Viacha. Guests are invited to participate in different cultural exchanges between themselves and the Andean families throughout their stay, learning about the traditions and culture of the family and even participating in some of their daily activities. Other activities include dyeing and weaving classes, adobe workshops and various guided tours to different historic sites in the region.
