Estonia is a wonderful holiday destination for everything from city breaks to culinary adventures, birdwatching, and beach vacations. Become a beach bum at one of Estonia’s lovely beach destinations that are perfect to visit from June to August.

Parnu Beach

Parnu is the number one holiday resort in Estonia, and its beautiful beach boasts soft white sands, a long boardwalk, and ample facilities. The water is relatively shallow, so Parnu Beach is a favorite among families, since children can play in the waters without fear of the water getting too deep too fast. Next to the beach is a large park, which provides a bit of respite from the hot sun if necessary. Nearby snack stands, rental facilities for water sports, mini golf, toilets, and changing rooms make this the perfect beach to spend a full day.

Facilities at Pirita Beach include changing rooms, lockers, playgrounds, snack stands, and sports areas. In the summer, lifeguards are on duty on both weekdays and weekends. If the weather is clear, visitors to Pirita Beach will be treated to great views of Tallinn’s skyline. It is easy to get to Pirita Beach from Tallinn’s city center and takes only about 30 minutes via public transportation (bus 228).

It is also the southernmost beach in Estonia, making it slightly warmer than the other beautiful Estonian beaches. Mandjala Beach is also a popular spot for standup paddleboarding and kite surfing.
